What can you help with?
I work across eyewear collection strategy, creative direction, product design, colour & material development, and product development. Projects can range from a specific design or CMF assignment to the development of a complete collection.
What kind of projects do you work on?
I work on optical and sunglasses collections, children’s eyewear, new product concepts, collection refreshes and capsule collections. I can also help define or evolve a brand’s design language and product direction.
Can you work with an existing design or product team?
Absolutely. I often work alongside existing design, product and development teams, bringing an external perspective or specific expertise to strengthen a project. This can range from trend research and concept development to CMF, product design or technical development.
Who do you typically work with?
I collaborate with eyewear brands, manufacturers, design teams and creative agencies, from established companies to emerging and independent brands. I can work directly with a brand or as part of an existing team, depending on the project.
COLOUR, MATERIALS & FINISHING

How do you approach colour and materials?
I see colour and materials as an integral part of product design, not simply as a final layer. I combine brand positioning, market and trend insights with a strong understanding of eyewear materials and manufacturing to create a coherent and distinctive material language.
Can you develop a CMF direction for an existing collection?
Yes. I can analyse an existing collection and define a clearer colour and material direction across the range. This can include new palettes, material combinations, finishes and guidelines to strengthen the collection without redesigning the products.
Do you work with suppliers and material manufacturers?
Yes. I work directly with acetate and metal manufacturers and have built a personal material library with samples from Italian and Chinese acetate suppliers, as well as metal colour and finish references from partner manufacturers. This allows me to explore materials with both creative and production considerations in mind.
How do you review colour options with international clients?
Colour options are developed in the studio using physical acetate swatches, lens samples and metal plating references. I present them remotely through photography and shared Milanote boards. Physical samples can also be sent for final approval, or reviewed in person when possible.
DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT

What does your design process look like?
The process is adapted to each project, but typically moves from research and creative direction to concept development, product design and refinement. I balance creative exploration with brand positioning, market insights and production requirements throughout the process.
Can you work on an existing collection?
Yes. I can review an existing collection to identify opportunities, improve its coherence or develop new products within an established design language. This can range from a focused collection refresh to a new capsule or product family.
Do you provide technical drawings and development support?
Yes. I provide detailed technical drawings and can support the transition from concept to production. I work closely with development teams and manufacturers to refine shapes, details and construction throughout the process.

How are projects scoped?
Projects are scoped according to the level of involvement required, from a focused assignment to a complete collection or creative direction. The scope, deliverables, timeline and working process are defined before starting.
How are projects priced?
Pricing depends on the scope, complexity and level of involvement required. I usually work on a project or daily rate basis, with each quotation adapted to the specific needs of the project.
How long does a project take?
Timelines vary depending on the scope and number of products involved. A focused design or CMF assignment can take a few days, while a complete collection may develop over several weeks or months.
Do you offer ongoing collaborations?
Yes. I work both on individual projects and longer-term collaborations. This can include seasonal collections, ongoing design support, CMF development or creative direction across several projects.
Do you work internationally?
Yes. I work with international clients and remote teams. Projects can be managed remotely, with physical samples and in-person meetings arranged when useful.
